About

From inspired mother to holistic therapist

It is most often the relationships in our life that influence our desire to better understand ourselves and those closest to us. For me, that was my family, especially being a mother of four children. Watching my children grow propelled me onto a path of seeking understanding of the many aspects of human nature and why we behave the way we do. It became clear that adapting better relationship skills also meant better parenting as well as greater bonds of love in my family. It was only a natural progression to decide to become a psychotherapist to help others with their relationships and parenting.

Discovered passion for energy work

More than a decade ago, I was introduced to bio-energy work with Sarah McCroskey. She taught me how to dialogue with the energetic body to improve well being. I discovered I have a natural gift and passion for this transformative work. By integrating my empathy, compassion, intuition, and therapeutic training, I have created my own holistic form of energy therapy.

Leading workshops on relationship skills

I’ve led workshops on building relationship skills. Speaking to small groups allows experiential as well as peer learning. My experience includes leading workshops for couples, parents, and adults interested in transforming their relationships to be more joyful.

Education and interests

I earned my Masters degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University in 2011. In 2016, I received my Marriage Family Therapist license. My ongoing academic interests include mindfulness, contemplative–existential psychology, somatics, shame, dreams, and couples’ work.
